Jul 7 to Jul 9, 2023 - 30th ANNUAL IOWA MOTO GUZZI RALLY

This a Family oriented rally. All bikes, Riders and Families Welcome at Elkader City Park and Campground Elkader is in beautiful Northeast Iowa on Hwy 13, about halfway between Hwy 3 and Hwy 18. The park is toward the south end of town and can be seen and accessed from Hwy 13.

Tent Camping Friday and Saturday nights. Early arrivals need to pay at the park kiosk for extra nights). Coffee, Tea and Lemonade all weekend. Three Meals. Friday, Iowa beef supper. Saturday, breakfast and Iowa pork chop supper, Rolls and donuts on Sunday morning is included in the rally fee. Also: 50/50 Drawing, Quilt Raffle, Observation poker runs, Guided group lunch ride on Saturday. There is a swimming pool in park (cost is not included in the rally fee). Rest, relax and enjoy all the scenic roads in the area to ride.

- Guttenberg Motel 563-252-1433;
- Jailhouse Inn, Elkader 563-723-0081. (If these accommodations are filled please ask for recommendations.)

Registration closes June 30, 2023. Age 25 and older $45. Under age 25 $25. At the Rally: Age 25 and older $55. Under age 25 $35.

Looking forward to getting back after about a 4 year hiatus.Lunch ride Saturday to the Motorcycle Museum which is closing a in September.Great people,campground and food!

I've been going to Guzzi rallies since 1971 and the Iowa rally is in the top 5, Man, what a bargain.

It's Monday already - just a few days until the rally.

This is always a fine rally. We'll be there early on Friday.

Saturday ride to the Motorcycle museum in Anamosa - its last year. The museum is closing in September.

Come on folks, this is a great rally. Who knows how long rallies like this are going to be, hopefully a long time, but the demographics aren't looking too good. So if you can, make sure you get on your bike, truck, tricycle whatever and come have fun along the Turkey River. I'm sure you know by now, we have far greater more of the things we didn't do, than the things we did.

This year looks like lovely weather to boot. In years past, this rally had over 300 attending. Seeing that many Guzzi at one time might blow some of your minds.

I might have to rip down on Saturday and just do a one-nighter. I haven't been to this particular rally but I know a lot of fun ways to get down there thru the Driftless from MSP.

We have our reservations at the Franklin Hotel in Strawberry Point.

(My Wife's idea of camping is Motel Six)

78 degree high on Friday and 80 on Saturday. Overnight lows in the upper 50's.
This is some great weather for you tent campers !

Actually, camping with the RV about an hour away. Took a drive there Friday and wow, not like I remembered. Now it was only 2pm but I'd still have to give the venerable Cal 1100 variant as the clear winner when I was there. Last time I saw that many ancient people I was visiting my aunt in a retirement home. When did we get so old.
