LM2 front end replacement

I am rebuilding my LM2 after an accident which completely wrote off the front end. I was having trouble sourcing parts but have managed to find a set of T3 forks and a complete LM3 triple clamp to purchase here in New Zealand.
My understanding is the forks will work for the F09 calipers and 300 disc and the 35mm forks will fit the LM3 triple clamp. Can anyone confirm that is so and also will the triple clamp be compatible with my LM2 frame steering head?
I am also struggling to work out what front wheel spindle I could use for this set up - I have a Millie GT one but I think that will be to long.

The T 3 forks are virtually the same as the LM 2 apart from the tabs for the mudguard brackets.It should be a straight swap apart from that.The LM 3 clamps reverted to the narrower fork spacing so they wont work

As already mentioned , LM2 fork spacing is  wider (195mm.) as in T/T3/SP1000/ G5/Convert  . The LM3 fork spacing is 180mm and will require a LM1 or 3 front fender as well as a modified or narrower front axle to suit. . A SP1000 front fork setup ( with triples) would be ideal as the fender mounts are the same as LM2 . If the front wheel did not survive, the other cast  wheel type as in SP and later T3/T4 is wider at the hub , so will need  some machining.  As per the rotors, the 1 piece type as in SP or T/T3 are shallower/ less dished than LM2 so more to consider/ measure to fit.

cheers - great info.  The wheel didn't survive but I have found a replacement so I will check what it is off before I buy it. I have a set of decent rotor carriers of the LM2 wheel but will need new discs.
 So possible set up is: LM3 triple clamp, T3 forks, wheel (model to be determined), LM1 or 3 fender (modified for T3 brackets), LM2 rotor carriers and new discs, LM1 or 3 spindle. Anyone see any problems with this?

The fender brackets could prove to be a pita to find and fit to the actual fender....and won't look great IMHO.The LM lowers just have two suds machined into them on the inside  so maybe consider that .
Like Guzzista said SP ones would be a straight fit and should be findable in the US

CX100 was the U.S. sub for the LM2.  Same as a SP1000NT but with LM body work.

Bosses aren't there on T3 fork lowers. sacko: I have a pair of SP fork sliders/lowers that nobody seems to want. Yours for the cost of shipping.
