It's always a good cause. Always happy to purchase a few tickets. One day maybe even win something...

I just received the coat that I won from Cadre cycle, it's a Z1R motorcycle coat with a concealed carry pocket, armor and a zip off hoodie, first thing I ever won. Thanks Cadre.

I know, when I saw the number I about had a stroke, I had no idea that they had other prizes,  the coat fits me well and I'm blessed I finally won something  :boozing:

I know how you feel. I'm still flying high from winning a board game from a local restaurant at around 10 years old.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!!!!

Thank you again, to Cadre Cycles for putting together the raffle.
Benefitting the animals is a great thing. We lost our little Iggy (Bella) earlier in the year and have always been a sucker for pets.

I have been able to put maybe half a mile on the bike since picking up, thanks to winter weather. Now I am really anxious for spring to come so I can get some miles in on it!

Happy guy here!!!

I predict that you are going to love riding that bike.  It's such a looker that at least while the weather is bad, you can stand around and admire it in your garage.  Welcome to the board.  You can learn just about anything you ever wanted to know here and sometimes its even entertaining when our Down Under friends chime in.

Thanks all! I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can about the Guzzi character. My other ride is a 91 GL1500, picked up over last summer and brings me back to the world of 2 wheeling after 15yrs or so. My son picked up a 2017 v9 Bobber as a first adult bike. I rode it home from the dealer and it sparked the passion I once had. Now we both will be on similar bikes to spend time together. I can't ask for anything more!

John,  use some caution if buying aftermarket panniers.  The Stone Special has some differences in geometry due to the Arrow system.

This fellow bought a Givi system that he had to return.  In the end it was chalked up to not doing his due diligence.  BTW he loves his Stone!

Thanks Dave. Planned add-ons are limited to a small rack to carry my lunch cooler. I am interested in doing a some sort of modern retro Cafe racer stuff. Using a racer single seat, rear-set controls and small flyscreen. Most importantly, I would like to optimize the suspension and brakes...as the budget allows anyway!

The brakes are excellent! No need for improvement there.    And I think you will find the stock suspension surprisingly good.  The V7-850 series actually has rear shocks that do not scream out to be replaced immediately.  On my 2015 V7 I knew within 10 miles the shocks had to go.  So far that has never crossed my mind on my -850.

Yeah, so this bike is pretty damned good out of the box! It does everything I ask it to, without any defiance. We are going to get on well together! Weather has allowed a few days of riding and I'm taking advantage so as to run thru the break-in period as soon as I can.
