Only one??? Man that is tough. Going off what I know and have?

Griso?
1200 Sport?
Stornello?
Convert?
750 Baby Breva?
8V Norge?
MGX-21?

I'd have to say the 1200 Sport as an all around fantastic bike, but I would HATE to loose the Griso for all it is, and would sorely miss the V7 Stornello that is perfect with the exception of lack of power...... Then again, I would never want to loose the Convert.  The Baby Breva could go away tomorrow, but man I would regret losing any of the others. SO GLAD this is theoretical ;- )

I think mine would be a V11 Lemans Corsa with hard bags, but the 1000S is a tempting response. I don’t own either, but I have multiple bikes and multiple brands so had never considered the question.

I'd love to have this exact setup with a larger windshield if I could only have one. I wish I could afford to snag one of these up. It seems to me to be a perfect blend of sport and tour with ample power and from what I read, fantastic handling and performance. So it would scratch my itch for speed, and touring with power and handling to boot. All the things I require.

Trades are tough. If they loaded up the 100S with all the available awesome options, I'd be very tempted.

For me as much as I hate to say it the V85TT would probably be my choice. I prefer the adventure bike platform over sport or standard. I had a Quota and my 1st will be my last. Never rode a Stelvio 1200 but I do not like Guzzi 4V motors. If the Stelvio came with a 2V 1100 that would be a different story. The V85TT overall I really dislike but it the lightest and I think has electronic cruise control so coupled with panniers and atop box it would be the most versatile for my needs.

I had a Norge and a Stelvio around '14-'18.  After a BMW GS came the Stelvio which was great on the road and was not a problem on gravel mountain roads - it was in the driveway I was terrified of dropping it while moving around or washing.  The center of gravity was just way too high.  It was the first to go although I loved it.  The Norge came after a BMW K-bike and ST1300 and was much lighter.  I took several trips cross country with it but preferred a lighter bike for general purpose.  I finally saw the V85 at EICMA and put money down before they were even having people order.  I road a lot of Colorado mountain passes with it and then also across Canada.  Thinking I would not be doing any more cross country trips ( since I have done three), I decided I didn't have the use for the Norge, taking up space, so I passed it along to Luis in Kentucky.  He has been enjoying it ever since.  When the Centenario was coming out I got one for myself (#10) and one for my younger son (#11).  My original, went to my older son in Columbus. All of us have been very happy with the bike.

Last year I saw the EICMA promo for the upcoming Stelvio and put an order in over a month ago.  The dealer contacted me today, with the VIN and said that it would be in in a couple weeks here in PA.  The V85 is about perfect as it does everything about 90%.  I will keep both bikes and switch off.  I really don't know which one I will keep, (or maybe I'll keep both).  I have a whole workbench full of parts I will be swapping/adding to the Stelvio.  I think, in the end, the Stelvio will win out as we already have a history.  The picture was taken Sept. 23 of this year when we were on the top of Passo dello Stelvio.  What a tough choice !!!

Well, if it has to be a MG I suppose I'd choose a v85tt but it would be a tough decision between the Adventure and the Travel models.   I still haven't figured out the difference between the two other than spam cans vs side open bags.  Of course I'd need all the options like heated grips/seat, driving lights, etc.  I don't need the top box option, prefer to strap a bag over the passenger pillion.  Although I love my current inventory, realistically they've aged out on me and me on them.  They've got tons of miles and slightly difficult to trust on a cross country 5k-6k round trip.  As have I, I need comfort, realiability and sufficient capacity to bring all my comfort stuff (tent, chair, mattress, sleeping bag, pillow, plenty of clothes, snacks & probably a few other things).  And, my hope would be that the v85 would float over the road as well as my wing does or wee strom did.  No stiff suspension required here....comfort all the way with plenty of suspension travel, I'm 70, was never a speed racer and don't plan on becoming one now.  Also, i think the v100 is too new for me, I'm more apt to choose a bike that has been out for a while that has developed a good track record in reliability & comfort.

Only one Guzzi?!?

Well, a pristine, sorted example of any of these would do me just fine... :thumb:

However, for the last 8 years, my trusty '98 Centauro GT, (aka "The Yellow Horse"), has been great... :thumb:

I love my V11 Sport.  I wouldn't replace it.  So far as just owning one Guzzi and nothing else, I suppose I'd hold my breath that nothing would break and bank on the V100.  It's a competent motorcycle and rips.   Since I have a Ducati 939 Supersport, I'd rather have that one and the Sport.

I think I'll take the Sport out today,  it's going to be 60 out.

They have a 100S on the floor.  Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I did that back in 2018 when I thought my riding days would forever be limited by nerve pain.  Did trade two for one for my 2018 Road Glide Special and had so much equity in the bikes I traded that I got about $7000 in upgrades to make the Special into a Road Glide Limited for touring.

Faced that choice three years ago when at 72 years old I decided that it was time to let the Stelvio NTX go and replace it with my last Guzzi for the duration of my riding years. Now pushing 75 I know I made the right choice with my 2017 V9 Bobber. Added a wind shield, custom exhaust, solo seat and replacement rear suspension. Runs, sounds and rides just the way I like it. Covers my riding needs along with being within my ability to work on, move around and handle.

V100 Mandello without question, the standard model in red. It would be such a huge leap in performance from the 04 Breva I'm sure I will be entertained. Need hard luggage, and that's about it. And I just about fit on it. Just.

My Stelvio.  Easily the most competent bike I've ever ridden.  Takes me anywhere I should go alone.  Ridden an 800 mile, 17 hour day on it and was ready to go the next morning.

I’d like a Corsa with wire wheels. I don’t have many riding years left and I think that would suit me till the end.

If I could have a new one, regardless of the year, the one at the top of my list would probably be a LeMans III.  For a new Guzzi, it would have to be a '24 Stone Corsa, which I should be taking delivery of hopefully in the next few weeks.

All sound reasons. Also valid for the 1000S and LM IV, for those seeking more performance. Although the III is arguably the best handling Lemon.

This 2004 EVT gets the call more than any other motorcycle in the garage...  To the point that I did not even register the 2013 HD FLHTC this past year.

The EV is a do it all ride for me and I dig it.

If I had to have one Guzzi, it would be the V9 Roamer that is the most comfortable bike I ever sat on.  I'd get the red one, not sold here in the states, and swap out the chrome parts for black, mainly the pipes and the bars I think

My V7-850 does not have the HP of my former 2002 Sportster 1200 Sport or 2014 Honda CB1100, but it has so many features:
5.5 gallon fuel capacity
air cooled (Triumph did a good job of making the radiator on my 2022 Bonneville Street Twin not to obvious, but it is more complex)
easy valve adjustment
shaft drive
great torque
top speed 114 MPH up slight grade with mild headwind
comfortable for 400 mile days

It has been the almost perfect bike to end my motorcycling "career"

If I had to pick one Guzzi to own and give up the rest it would be this one, my 1948 Airone 250

They aren’t terribly rare or valuable in comparison to say a V7 Sport but the simplicity of the mechanical components, the near agricultural look if the frame and the elegant sheet metal, chrome and paint that joins it all together into an attractive design.
