Interesting so if I'm understanding this correctly (please feel free to set me straight if I'm not) your job is analyzing statistics of hits for content creators across multiple platforms?

No. That's a third party website that analyzes YouTube channels.

I was going to post my screenshots so you could see that I am in fact helping over 100,000+ motorcyclists every single month, and that I have created over a hundred informative "how to" videos aimed at helping or informing motorcyclists. Then I remembered who I was dealing with and decided to just share the link to the third party source instead.

Too much time being wasted here because of how derailed the thread has been.

Give it a rest Kev.  You waited 7 months to see?  Really?  Wait until you retire and really have all that time on your hands.  LOL!

Let's calm down. This member is not a spammer. We have members here that have been members for 10+ years and have never posted. Yet, they still donate. A lot of members like the search option and choose not to engage as they only look for solutions.

If you don't like something you see here, simply scroll on by. I do it all the time, and it's so easy a caveman can do it

Thank you Luap!

Last week I installed a new battery and took my camera out for a little V7 photo shoot before the trees loose all their leaves. A few came out alright.

And yes, I know, that's not where the tank badge goes, but... I kinda like it down there, and it's different, so that's where it's staying :)

Thanks Steve!

Is the V7 the winner?

Honestly, the Bonneville won as far as "best", but the V7 won "best for me", so I sold the Bonnie and kept the V7.

My V7 is a 2013 / V7 I, so a lot of the Bonneville's shortcomings were also shortcomings that Moto Guzzi hadn't corrected in the V7 yet. But the Bonneville had other strengths (namely performance), that I think make it better than the V7 I.

That being said, the V7 was the most fun and best for me, so the Bonnie was sold months ago.

I still have the V7, but it's also up for sale, only because there's a V7 III Anniversario(maybe? chrome tank anyway) that I will try to upgrade to if I can sell mine before that bike sells.

adri, you're arguing for credibility on a niche Moto Guzzi board while sending out links to your personal youtube channel that has content that compares a modern V7 to an entry-level Triumph to an Indian-made Royal Enfield. Ok...

but then you're trying to further establish your credibility against a dude with 30 THOUSAND POSTS in this community. I'm not trying to diminish what you do; it takes effort to put a video together and to have the courage to do it. It also takes effort to consistently check in here over the years (probably decades with the poster in question?) and contribute to discussions. 30,000 times.

You know, if you called it what it was then it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Owning something is authentic.

I don't know your intentions for certain but I don't think Kev is wrong for calling it spam. It is borderline spam.

Thought about going back to a month ago and revisiting this...

Just going to post this instead:

I appreciate that you see what I was saying, however, Luap is our host and he's spoken on the matter so that's it as far as I'm concerned.

I'm more interested in what's next and am happy to have Adri contributing.

Though he's killing me with that badge placement but hey it takes all types.

Oh, on that, Adri, have you ridden a MkIII yet? I do really like ours but I swear I prefer my MkI most of the time. If I have to sell one it'll probably be the III.

That is a very honest assessment that I can understand as another V7 owner! I've owned many niche motorcycles, they tend to be more fun for me than the more popular choices or what looks best on paper.

Well, as an owner I agree, but it comes under the category of "duh."

Not sure I follow?

Sorry I was just being cheeky.

Let me elaborate.

I currently own three bikes, but I've owned plenty more (and had access to press fleets).

Yet the bike I've personally owned longest in my life is the 2013 MkI Stone that I ordered from Guzzi through Fast By Feracci as soon as I learned they were building em.

Even of the three bikes we currently own it's by far the lowest performer in any objective category. Yet, with as many as 5 bikes in the fleet at any moment I've owned it, I consistently chose it over the others. More HP, less weight, there have been plenty of items you might think would make me ride the others more, but I didn't.

So to me, it's obvious, it's duh, that another bike objectively won the comparison, but at the same time the V7 was still subjectively the preferred "better" bike, yeah that computes.

But I also recognize that YMMV.

Thanks for explaining. That makes sense to me and I also relate to your view. I just didn't understand the "duh".

Yeah, like Kev, and Adri - these bikes have *something* that's difficult to define. Others have more power, or features, or whatever, but the Guzzi just does it for me.

I recall back 30 years ago when I was really into the airheads, they were considered slugs because they only had 70 horsepower. But that didn't take into account the torque and how it actually felt like a lot more. It wasn't up to Honda race standards by any means, but plenty strong enough for touring.

Good looking bike! I don't personally care for the saddle bags but it's your bike. Dress it out like you want it.  :thumb:

The "Moto Guzzi" looks fine to me.   :thumb:
