"96 California needs help

My '96 California developed a leak in one of the fuel lines.  It's the fuel injected model.

I removed the tank and also the air box to get to the fuel lines, and replaced all the fuel lines with new ones.

Put it all back together and it fired right up.  Went for a test ride and no more fuel leak, but the idle went to 3000 RPM 

Where to start ?  TPS reset ?  Did I bump the throttle body settings?  Does Guzzidiag even work with a '96 ?

Sounds like something is just out of place to me. Maybe the throttle or "cold start lever" cables aren't in their holes completely? Throttle bodies not fully in their rubber couplings causing an air leak or the air box to foul the linkage?

The cold "fast idle" cable did come loose at one point, I'll double check that.  Would an air leak cause a fast idle, it was tough to get the air box boots seated, maybe one pinched ?

I've had the cable end pop out of the cold start bracket several times.

Yes, GuzziDiag will work on  your P8 computer.  But, it only reads active data.  Can't store anything.  Can't adjust anything.  Graphic function can be helpful to observe TPS data on the fly.

Ok, thanks guys. 

I suspect and hopefully it will turn out to be the cold start cable or the throttle cable displaced.
