V85TT Service Manual???
« on: August 23, 2024, 01:22:12 PM »
Just picked up my new 2025 Rosso Fuji V85TT. A bit of a learning experience trying to figure out the dashboard settings but gradually learning.
Thinking about first service as I have always done my own and the dealer is 350 miles away. Just wondering if there is a service manual available online or hard copy? I know manufacturers these days are loathe to make them available.
Instead of that does anyone know what the valve lash should be on the 2025 or even the 2023. Guessing the 2025 may be different but maybe in the ball park.

Don't know if this one will help, copyright 2019:

https://cadrecycle.com/manuals/technical/v85-service-manual.pdf

You might check the manuals section, sometimes Guzzi will combine manuals.

Odds are Cadre will post it before anyone else.
Supposedly all they did is add the VVT to the front of the cam so I doubt the lash changed. 4 & 6 for all the other V85's. It should be listed on a sticker under the seat somewhere. It might even be in the owners book.

I didn’t realize Cadre posted these. Haven’t had a new Guzzi in 25 years. Good to know. I did download the owners manual but no technical data, just the intervals when valves should be checked.
Still wading through the owners manual. So far impressed with the power, just the opposite of my ‘76 Lemans with its low and mid range grunt. Also a decent seat, another first for me on a stock Italian bike.

Once it is posted go to guzzitek.org The British collection site. More reliable than the dealers. they have the V85TT but not a 25

Cadre also sells a "do-it-yourself" Initial Service kit that includes every part they use on a customer's bike.

I think it's great Cadre went the distance to make this "Service Station Manual" available to the community, it's helpful.  Same with Greg Bender TOT posting a quick look up v85tt Torque Specs.  Too bad MG didn't put a torque value at every spot it mentionsed "tighten".

If you prefer a printed paper service manual there is an eBay seller out of Tennessee that sells excellent printed copies with clear pictures. I bought a couple for my V100 Mandello. I much prefer printed manuals over digital. Keep in mind that MG makes a separate service manual that covers the engine. The non-engine manual will cover the servicing of the bike including valve adjustment. I have nothing to do with the eBay seller but I can vouch for the quality of their printed manuals. If you want digital manuals you can buy them from AF-1 Racing for about $20 each.

I've bought a few from that seller. Good quality at a fair price.
