Breva on the backroads (video)

It has been simply ages since I posted my last Guzzi video.
To redress that, here's one now:

I was wondering how you were going to lift the Breva out of that lake. Good riding.

Thanks. It was a bit of a surprise. I was expecting it to be about six inches deep. It was actually more like a foot. Still, keep the revs up and plough on......

Great video as always Nick. You make riding on gravel look easy. I of course ALWAYS find the really loose parts and end up sliding all around and am more unstable than I'd like.  The Breva/Norge is however a very stable platform. About 8 years ago I looped Vancouver Island and discovered most of it is gravel and dirt roads. The Norge did fine, though I had to knock on a couple doors to ask to use their hose and spray the mud off the chin mounted oil cooler.

Thanks again Nick, I always enjoy your videos. When I had my Jackal and Norge I traveled all over Alaska with them until a damaged shoulder nudged me toward a modern V7 and V85. I must admit cruise control spoiled me. Photos by Rodekyll

Ah, that video makes me wish I was riding it with you.  I enjoy riding gravel/dirt on my v9 and Breva, as long as it doesn't get too hairy.  I agree, riding off tarmac really isn't a problem as long within the parameters your pointed out, in fact it's rather fun.

Unfortunately, with mud and street tires, it can be over in an instant. The only thing worse than dropping a bike in the mud is trying to pick it up again.  It took three of us, slipping and sliding in the goo to right this thing.  Mud wrestling at it's worst.
