Memories

Years ago, in the early 80's, my new bride and I took a ride on my first Guzzi, a 75 850T. We left Wisconsin and went west through Iowa and Nebraska and then into Colorado. Then north through Estes Park and over the top of the mountain. We finally crossed into Wyoming and into Cody where we pulled into a motel for the evening. By chance another guy on a Guzzi, an Eldorado, pulled into the parking lot at the same time. What are the chances? If I remember right we even had supper together before retiring to our rooms. I wonder who that guy was and if he's on this forum.

My first exposure to Guzzi was in Cedar Breaks National Monument in June 1999. A couple from Wisc who had been touring the country on their California, fully loaded down so much the passenger was carrying a pineapple in her lap from Seattle. Two years later I bought my California Stone and never looked back.
