Lost a good website
« on: January 30, 2025, 07:35:57 AM »
Just went back to Charlie Cole’s website, Zydeco Racing and it’s gone. It was a good resource with lots of fun and informative info. Anyone here ever “copy” or “archive” some of its info?

You could try using the wayback machine located at: https://web.archive.org/

It's a great tool for this exact thing. When this site crashed several years back and my backup failed, I relied on this exact page to recover some data. Give it a try.

IIRC, Greg Bender was going to archive Charley's site. Maybe check with him. Greg@thisoldtractor.com

The site went quite a few years ago.  Even though I never used his transmission repair shop, it was a comfort knowing it was there.
