Launching from Apple Valley, Ca for Datil tomorrow morning between 4:00 and 5:00am to try and beat some of the heat at least in Needles which is projected to have a 117 high tomorrow. Riding my 72 Eldorado. I’ll overnight in Winslow and cruise in to Datil a day early for the rally (just can’t wait to get on the road).

All my bags are packed, and I am ready to go,
motorcycle sitting outside my door, waiting for tomorrow AM to come.
I have to wake her as she is coming too.

Oh well that is enough of that..

Richard & Faye are in Canada enroute to Alaska and I'm back home in Kona.  Next trip to the GRIT.

50 riders in attendance this year!   :bow: :thumb: :cool:

The give-away-bike for 2025 was a late 1970's SP1000 (running)....won by a guy from Texas...who reportedly turned around that night and sold it for $300 to a guy from Arizona!! :rolleyes: :shocked: :huh:

Mentioned it in another post as well, but wanted to say it here too:

Big props to Matt Forslund for putting together his 35th and final Guzzi rally in New Mexico. He's worked really hard to put together this truly great Guzzi event for all enthusiasts to enjoy. A big thanks to all the registered Guzzisti that participated and those that contributed to make it a success. Matt is hoping that someone will take over the MGNOC NM Rally reigns, but will be happy to support whomever does.

It was actually won by Steve from Kansas and sold to Rod from Missouri
