I say again, the Tail Light is not Canbus
http://www.thisoldtractor.com/guzzi007/schematics/2019_V85_TT.gif
The yellow wire is +12 via the ignition switch and Fuse 1
The Green Yellow wire is pulled to Chassis via the ECU
The Dash tells the ECU via Canbus to ground out pin 61 the stop light LEDs
the Tail Light LEDs are grounded via the blue wire.

You should be able to connect other 12 Volt LEDs between Yellow (+) and Green/yellow (-)
Substitute a relay coil then you can add a killowat of extra lights powered from another source.

Its just simple electrickery

There is a lot of Can Bus on this bike, its the twisted black wires between the Dash and ECU ABS terminating on Can L Can H terminals
Not all twisted black wires are Can Bus e.g. the twisted shielded pair to the speed sensor Item (52)

A lady friend of mine has one, I think it may work when she remembers to turn it on.
it certainly gets your attention trying to figure out how it works
less likely to run a rider over if they have your attention I guess.

SuperbrightLEDs.com is a great source of after market lamps, they have a motorcycle section

https://www.superbrightleds.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Motorcycle%20Tail%20Lights

How about a pair of these?
https://www.superbrightleds.com/low-profile-led-rv-tail-light-stop-tail-turn-9-12-leds-black-base-passenger-side-driver-side?queryID=6d331509f6eb85c0c9f6f6670ca9d5db

I have a pair of these on my V7'they sure add visibility for just 10 Watts
https://www.superbrightleds.com/led-light-pod-2-modular-led-off-road-work-light-10w-900-lumens I chose the 30 degree option

I thought these were out of stock so I chatted with Supperbright, they say they have them, slightly cheaper to buy a pair.
