‘07 CALVIN WINDSCREEN
« on: June 01, 2025, 01:53:42 PM »
I love the new-to-me California Vintage. But the stock windscreen turbulence is Brutal at highway speeds. The bike is old, so I didn’t expect much of a selection of improved replacements. But None? I’ll pursue “Harley” fork lowers later. Should I try to ‘work’ with Rifle which has/had a variety of, well regarded, replacement windscreens?  Spud

Stock screen was fine for me on my former ‘09.  But riders are different.  From what I recall, Rifle was to be the go to for custom aftermarket.  They’ll use your stock brackets.

Fork lowers do the trick, I can ride my CalVin down the road @80mph. And not blow my ball cap off since installing. I don't condone not wearing a helmet, but it works.
its not the end of the world...but you can see it from here!

Charlie,
Fits a Jackal?  I'm interested!  You wouldn't happen to have to lightweight rack that goes behind the drivers solo seat, would you?

The "Cupolino" factory fairing made for the 2000 and up earlier years of the California may still be around in the aftermarket.  Works decently and already comes in black.

Came off of a 2000 Jackal I bought. No rack, sorry.

Currently fitting some Harley fork lowers.  Not a direct fit but the trusty old 3d Printer is coming to the rescue.  Pics later and possible ride report if I can get it installed before tomorrow afternoon.
