So, I'm confused.
First, what motorbike are we writing about?
Second, you mention the input shaft bore. Is the transmission out on the bench? How can you see the input shaft which sticks out the front of the transmission? I suspect a nomenclature confusion here. Please explain or photo more.
Third, there is a modified 'outer body' which uses TWO o-rings for better sealing.
Fourth, how many miles and what is the maintenance history? If the throwout bearing ever failed (not uncommon) the whirling bits will quickly eat away at the throwout bore in the soft aluminum rear cover of the transmission. New o-rings will quickly get destroyed as they drag over the damaged bore area.
