... Ordinarily I wouldn't really care much about having a phone on the bike but I use a speedometer app because the bike's speedo is so optimistic.
This $15.99 Joyroom Motorcycle Phone Mount is functionally similar to P's $99 item, but in rugged plastic. It has a central button that makes the jaws close around your phone for one-handed mounting. No wireless charging, though. I've used mine for a long time and recommended it.Wireless charging is one of those things you don't realize how great it is until you use it. No chainrg cords to deal with that are moiture sensative or wiggle lose. Just ride all day and when you undock the phone is fully charged. Love's me some wireless charging. FWIW mine also charges through an Otter box phone skin.
I had to put friction tape on the ball as it kept moving no matter how much I cranked it down.
I've read that Apple, at least, won't warrant the damage caused by mounting a phone on a motorcycle handlebar (and that they think they can tell what happened). I used another approach for my Griso. I made a label showing the mile per hour correction at a series of indicated mile per hour readings. Something like this, though I don't remember the numbers:55-3 60-4 65-5More entries than that, of course. I printed it out with a Dymo label maker and put it on the face of the dash. It would also work on the handlebar. It faded after a few years, so maybe I should have used the old plastic-embossing-style label maker.
Somehow, I'm able to subtract 5 from my V85 speedo and always be close enough.
Lamicall has a decent phone mount on Amazon with what seems like good vibration dampening (no problems with 2 iPhones). Under $30Personally, after using the phone mount for a while, I got a $50 Carplay display off of AliExpress. Now my phone is in my pocket in case I'm ever accidently separated from my bike and navigation and music are much easier to manipulate on the bike
