Shocks for a 99 Bassa
« on: June 13, 2025, 10:43:06 AM »
I'm shopping for shocks for my 99 Bassa and have decided to go beyond Progressives or Ikon Basix even though I only paid $1k for my Bassa. I have a question into The Shock Factory about fitment/compatibility for 2Win shocks:

https://shock-factory.fr/en/home/33-2win-twin-absorber.html

Also have a question about compatible Hagon models from Bella Corse:

https://www.bellacorse.com/product-category/hagon-shocks-other-motorcycles/

And have a question into MG Cycle about availability and delivery time for these Ikon shocks:

I emailed Race Tech and got an email that seemed intended to deter me:
"We will need a Geo form filled out and sent back in for use to build shocks.  There is a $200.00 charge to process the Geo Form on top of the shocks."

Been seeing YSS shocks on Ebay shipped from Europe for much cheaper than the above, but they just look cheap compared to others.

It's weird considering spending this much on a $1k bike, but I've already replaced many parts and I intend to keep it for a long time. Any thoughts on these, or alternatives? I think I've read every Wild Guzzi thread relating to this.
