Moto Guzzi Jackal aftermarket seat options
« on: July 15, 2025, 08:17:03 PM »
Hi!  Just plated and have been daily riding a new-to-me red Jackal.  I LOVE it.  Coming from primarily '70's Honda CBs - 550s and 750s.

Forgive me if this isn't the right place to post (first post here), but I am trying to find a seat that I saw on an Italian sales forum that wouldn't let me register here in the U.S. so I could ask the seller directly what seat they've got.  I love the low profile and am hoping it's not completely custom.  Do any of ya'll know?  Will be updating my Jackal as time goes on - it didn't have an H pipe and the stock mufflers were put on with a good amount of wear after the previous owner bought them used.  All in all, I can ride it as is, but will be looking to add the H pipe and different mufflers as well.

Mine is the red, the seat I'd like to find is on the black one.

Welcome to WG! Nice Jackal.

Looks like the seller's number is in the listing.

I'd just try to hit him up on WhatsApp. Good luck  :thumb:

UPDATE: the owner of the black Jackal said he made the seat pan himself out of fiberglass and had it professionally upholstered - so no luck for an easy solution!

I had an 04 Stone simular to your Jackle years ago. I found the seat to be atrocious on my lower back. I took it to Benedict Upolstery in Fort Collins and they were able to resculpt the seat and use the original cover for around $100.

You can look around for a used seat on different market places and such but those seats will almost always will be sculpted for a specific butt.
Bill Mayer Saddles will be at the Top O the Rockies BMW club rally in Paonia next weekend, starting Thursday. They did a saddle for my V100 a couple of years ago in a few hours. Best money i have spent on that bike for long distance riding.

If you want an original seat, to use the pan for a custom seat, I have one, FREE if you pay shipping.

It looks a lot like a Corbin Gunfighter seat, they don't make one for a Cali.

Looks like you could modify this-----------------------------------------------

+1 for a Corbin Gunfighter seat, a little speedy though around $700 it cost me for the Griso, all day comfort.

I put a Corbin Gunfighter on my Griso, at $700 a little spendy but all-day comfort.
