Riser Problems or Stress?

Rainy out so thought I would be creative with the EV and extend the handlebars up about .75 inch using  .7 inch matched spacers and longer riser bolt OEM grade 5,  8.8  strength  to make HB's at bit more comfy.  The spacers weight 1.8 oz each and made either of steel or aluminum, not sure. Feel weighty like wheel spacers for an axel.

See pics.  Anyone see an issue with doing this?

If they work without flex they are good. That's how I see it. Safe enough if no flex with wheel in a chock where it can't move.

What Steve said is what I experienced. I turned some risers out of stainless ov various lengths and none have been a problem. I think the longest I tried were 6 inch with Centauro bars .

For around $20 you can get billet units that are also offset if’en you need to move the bars fore or aft a smidge.

Some of us have used wrench sockets for this mod.

I've used deep 18mm 1/2 in sockets as risers on a California Bassa with no issues.
