V85 TT (MY24 vs MY25)
« on: September 26, 2025, 02:08:22 AM »
Good morning everybody. I am Pablo from Spain.

I am in love with the Guzzi V85 TT and I am ready to buy it this morning. but I have a question.

In the invoice it states that the bike is MY24, when asked to the comercial why not MY25 he says me that there is no MY25 in Europe, the last one is MY24. Is it true?.

Thanks in advance, I am a bit worried.

Pablo

The 2025s in the US are E5+ and have variable valve timing. I don’t believe the US received any 2024s. You should make sure your bike has variable valve timing and is different from the previous years.

Just FYI:
A few dealers in the UK have "BRAND NEW 2025 MODELS AVAILABLE".
Also, one dealer has listed "Moto Guzzi V85 TT E5+ 2024 ROSSO FUJI" with details about titanium valves and VVT.

A reduced dry weight of 209 kg also contributes to providing you with perfect control of the bike both on- and off road.
Same weight as my old Triumph 955 Sprint ST! Crikey, big strong persons need only apply (for safety's sake).

Not sure if you can tell by serial #. As said the US didn't get 2024. Only 2025. The 25 has a different windshield that has a black pull handle to raise it up and there isn't a tubular cage around the headlight like the 19-23 had. The tank has a very big V85 on it. If the bike you are getting doesn't have those things I'd bet it doesn't have VVT.

Lots of youtube videos of the 2024 V85s that appear to be identical to what the US got as 2025s. Same colors and features.

As said, I do not believe there is any difference between the 24 and 25 at all.  EU apparently got the first batch, hence the 24s, the US got not until this year and they are 25.

Thank you all for your help.

It seems that there is not a my25. The bike I have just bought is the one with variable admission and I can’t find any improvement stated in internet for the last model that my new bike has not.

So, in a few days I will be enjoying this nice bike that I loved since the first moment I rode. I needed a bike for travelling, and my harley davidson sportster is not a valid one for this purpose. I will keep it, nonetheless. After 20 years and 100.000 kms it’s in a perfect condition and I love it.
