Given the fact that, in general, women are much, much more articulate than men,& more socially adept, it seems like a good business decision to have them as sales representatives whenever possible.
Especially if they are cute! :azn: :azn: :azn: :azn:

This most likely won't be popular, but it seems much ado about nothing.

Amen!

"Much ado about nothing" is exactly why internet forums are popular.

I bought a new Guzzi last week. The gal doing the paperwork, financing and up-sells was good looking. I didn't finance or take any of the extras but I bet she sells a lot of them. She didn't try to talk me into anything as I told her I did all my own work. She was very nice and knew what she was doing. I got the title in the mail yesterday, fastest ever.

I am surprised that most of you even own anything.

I was just posting a price I saw and wondered what people were seeing in their areas.

But this IS wildguzzi, with emphasis on the wild.

Probably pretty accurate aside from the doc and frieght free. A few yrs back I bought a leftover 23 V85tt travel which was about 12k. Some dealers were selling the base V85tt for 8 or 9K but unfortunately other dealers dont always know this unless a consumer asks, "can you get me the same deal as dealer B"

We've all seen some dealers sell leftover Bobbers for 6k.

Leafman got a price from Cadre for a V100S and called a dealer in Florida because it would have been a closer dealer to his location, but they couldn't match the price for the same bike and advised him to buy it from Cadre. And I believe their advertised price was the same as Cadre's price but their out the door was substantially more money.

I recently purchased a 2024 V100 for $13000 OTD. That included a $500 first responder discount. The advertised price was $10K but with the added fees it was still a great deal. If anyone thinks that isn't cheap enough for an amazing motorcycle maybe you should find another hobby.

I think I will find the Mondello to be too heavy but when we return to the US in November I'm going to look at one at the local dealer.  I suspect I will end up buying a V7 Special instead but if the "move around the garage" weight isn't excessive I might go with the Mondello.  BUT it will have to feel lighter than my BMW R1200RS, which I would sell/trade to buy the Mondello if I liked the Guzzi better.

I duck walk my bikes backwards, and ride them forwards in the garage, so seat height is the determining factor.

+1 yep, the common sense way to move a heavy bike around a tight space, in the garage or otherwise 👍

I find the Mandello to be very well balanced an manageable in the garage. I have to duck walk it backward between cars in the garage, and it's very easy. I find it very easy to come to a stop and balance the bike before putting my feet down. I like to see how long I can keep it balanced before I need to put a foot down. The V100 is much easier to do this with than my Tracer. Even though the Tracer has a significantly lower weight, it is taller and carries weight a little higher.

International Motorsports (in Vancouver BC) has a left-over 2023 V100 for sale for CA$ 10,000 (+ tax). See https://www.internationalmotorsports.com/inventory/2023-moto-guzzi-v100-mandello-langley-bc-v1m-4c2-12724321i  That is a excellent price, but it also shows that they do not sell as well as Piaggio had hoped...

(the 2025 Mandello's go for CA$ 18,000...)

I did about 30 minute test ride. Not overly impressed. I thought they all had ABS? I know I skidded the rear wheel 3 times.

They do have ABS.  Your test bike may have had it turned off, which is possible in custom settings, or so I'm told.
