Good evening fellow WGC family.
Yep it’s that time of the year for the bills to be paid for luap to keep the forum running.
It looks like at this time we are around 1100 dollars short at this time to meet the final payment.
Therefore if anyone has intentions of contributing a donation this year now is the time to pull the trigger.
I want to give a big thank you to any givers, in advance, for helping to keep our forum family intact and moving forward.

It has to be something to do with restrictions from your country. Not much I can do about that. I'm not sure of any services outside of the US that may work either.

Thanks for the support everyone. This year has been a challenge. Here's some of those challenges

• We are sitting at 115 total donors so far in 2025, compared to total 214 for last year. That pace is about 5 donors per month down
• Costs continue to go up every year.
• There was a pretty major hiccup early in the year that I had to hire some help with. That sat us back.
• It's not exclusive to us. Motorcycle riding in general is fading at an alarming rate.

On the plus side, we have an additional 8 members that are doing the $2 per month recurring. The current donation monitor shows us a total of over $1100 away from reaching our goal, but with a few donations that came in since last night, that number will go down quite a bit.

You might try using a VPN and selecting a different county (USA) for your server. Assuming that's allowed there.

Wow. Quite a supportive group indeed. Over the last couple of days we've made progress and are almost back on track. We're not completely there yet, but I remain optimistic that we'll meet our yearly goal by the end of December now. We're right at $650 short of reaching that goal. We were over $1100 short a few days ago.

Tried the VPN route and finally figured out that both Singapore and Japan Paypal do not support donations either via CC or Paypal links. They seem to be region-locked.

Let’s all ask ourselves, is “our” forum worth a small yearly donation. If only 50 percent of the members only gave a donation of 10 bucks a year we probably would have enough to do away with the adds that we all despise!
Now if that’s not motivation enough then I’m not sure what is👍

Interesting thought...We have roughly 800 members that use the site daily. So if 400 of them (50%) did the $10 per year donation thing, it would exactly cover all the expenses and I would 100% kill the ads

On the other hand, we have 8,384 total members. if 4,192 of them (50%) donated $10 ever year...I could retire

I’m always amazed that only 200 of us support the board. Many members have thousands if not tens of thousands of posts with a laundry list of the bikes in their garage and pics of their most recent purchase but can’t afford a donation? They must feel their rampant posts are the donation.
