New Moto Guzzi + Aprilia Dealer - St. Louis

I happened by our local place today - St Louis Powersports... and there sat a V85, a Stelvio, and half a dozen Aprilia motorcycles.

They've been at it for about a month now.

Yes sir, they had a Demo ride at the St.Peters store a couple months ago for Aprillia.  haven't seen any Guzzi Demos to try or ride yet.  That Tuono 660 was a pretty fun ride, I might end up with one.

Just by coincidence, today I noticed that MCC in Villa Park, Illinois (owned by Motoworks in Chicago) are showing on their website that they are a Moto Guzzi and Aprilia dealer.
I never expected that to happen (although MCC were briefly an Aprilia dealer back around 1998 or so.)

This would be great news if they could work on at least my 01 California. So hard to find a shop.

I imagine they'll be receiving training on current bikes first. You could ask about the California.

Donaldson's in St Louis used to be a Guzzi dealer.  I believe that they still work on the older Guzzi's.

I know you know this, but dealerships of any brand are unlikely to work on 25 years old motorcycles.  Especially new dealerships with little or no experience with a brand. 

It's just the way it is.

Well...that's a nice development.

Not an official Moto Guzzi dealership, but Flying Tiger motorcycles in St. Louis work on vintage motorcycles including Moto Guzzis. Friendly people, competent mechanics.

Having purchased several bikes from them and having the absolute worst experiences with their shop - I would never recommend them.

Good to shop around for reviews then I guess.

I had no issue with them doing the second service on my V7 850 as I was riding cross country. They were especially accommodating to a tight schedule. That was at their old location in Maplewood though, and Christian who's a guzzista did the service.
