'74 frame(s)
« on: March 16, 2026, 12:51:28 PM »
I am trying to identify a frame. I am told it is a 74 Eldorado #93454. Would this be the same frame as used on a 74 T3? Would they be interchangeable?

Thanks.

Eldo is a Loop frame.  T3 uses the Tonti frame.  The frames are very different, but with ingenuity you can mix and match to make a bike out of it.   Title concerns come to mind, but that is for another topic.

Yes., you could put the newer motor in the older frame with some mods. Electrics is all different. T3 is newer model, just like Dave says

How about a photo? 93454 would be a '74 850-T, the T3 didn't start until the following year. Eldo numbering went up to 630XX.

Is the main frame all rounded turns with two big loops where the engine goes?  Or is it angular, and the lower parts of the frame unbolt from the upper part of the frame?
