Right turn signals

I could really use some help. I have a question for you... my right side turn signals don't work, but 4-way flashers work fine on all 4 signals. I saw posts that it might be the dash as it controls the signals. So like you yesterday I removed all the body panels-PITA and checked the plug on the back of the dash and everything looks great. Before all of this I had also checked the switch on left handlebar and cleaned everything up although everything looked good. so now what might it be ???

Bike model? LED or incandescent bulbs? Tested voltages at the indicator connectors?

So, as OEM they are traditional bulbs, albeit coloured; we can rule out a possible faulty load resistor, as that could account for the symptoms.
Tried disconnecting the battery overnight, to reset the ECU/clocks?
Possibly a bad earth/chassis ground for the RHS indicators. Using the hazard lights the grounding may come from the LHS and a look at the wiring diagram will confirm if this is a possibility.

Yes I had disconnected the battery and checked the dash plug because the signals are controlled by the dash. All wiring looks good as far as I can see.

I've had a look at a wiring diagram and can see only the positive feeds come from the dash, the grounds being shared by other components. If the connectors are interchangeable, I'd try switching left & rights signals - the rear is possibly easier to access. This may narrow down any wiring breaks etc.
If not already get yourself a really cheap automotive multimeter (I have a decent one kept in the house and a cheapo AliXpress one in the garage) - it doesn't need to be super accurate. Try to squeeze the probes into the connector blocks whilst still connected, to check for output voltage: perhaps small straightened paperclips will help.
Oxidised connection on the handlebar switchgear? It's possible.

Yep,and check the ground inside the lights. They are plastic sockets and deform easily around the contact support area.

Indeed, my '79 LM2 had a ground problem to the rear indicators and they would occasionally fail to work.

Never liked relying on the frame to carry the ground so I ran a wire direct from battery negative and no issues since.

I appreciate this is different era of tech we are talking about but "ye cannae change the laws of physyics"

The bulbs have a single filament for blinker and emergency flasher.
If the flashers work, the wiring and ground to the bulb is fine.
Sounds like a handlebar switch, wiring to the switch or a dash problem.

On reflection, you may well be right; I did mention switchgear.
