I just came across this and thought someone here may be interested. I don’t know anything about it, it’s a Craigslist ad. Loop engine.

Do the Guzzi/Morgans use the Guzzi rear end?  Do they have a reverse?

Just a quick glance, but some things are amiss with the carbs.  They don't appear to have any sort of air intake filter.  (My Falcone 500 doesn't have any either and that is from the factory.)
Also, the carbs seem to have been reversed and installed on the wrong sides.  The adjusting screws are facing inward toward the center of the engine and would normally be on the outside on a motorbike.  That might just be a maintenance access issue and might not impact performance.  The intake manifolds are designed differently and marked for left/right (S/D) usage but I think the carbs work either side.

Some of it might be a Morgan, but the front suspension is VW Beetle with the torsion beams cut away. Most likely the whole thing is home-built. Front wheels look like they're rear wheels off of some Japanese bike.

Some original Morgans had reverse. Driveshaft back to a gearbox, then chain drive to the rear wheel. No telling what this one has.

It's even got the loop gas cap. I wonder how they got reverse?

I wonder how much he gave for it at the estate sale? Three or four grand?  Yeah, he doesn't know what he's got or how to make it run, but why not start high?

Not a Triking either. Those were MG powered but much more refined design similar to a Morgan.
