I'm laid up for a bit after shoulder surgery, and can't ride this summer.
So thanks for taking me along on another relaxing ride, Nick!

Your speaking of the relative simplicity of some bikes and the electronic
complexity of others, reminds me that I just finished watching Neil Graham's interview with
Nathaniel Ramirez on advrider. Mr. Ramirez opines that younger riders are
less interested in purchasing an enormous, expensive, mobile video game, and much more
interested in buying a smaller, inexpensive machine that provides a more
visceral experience. I'm in the less-is-more camp concerning motorbike technology myself.
I DO like EFI, a clock, heated grips, a couple of trip odometers, and a thermometer.
8 different ride modes with traction control, ABS, and lean angle sensors? Not for me, thanks.
