replacement throttle for LMIII ?

I would like to replace the oem lego throttle with something better. I found the Tommaselli  available at MG cycle however , there is not much detail on their site about fitment on the LMIII. Also, not sure if it is metal or plastic. Would prefer a metal bodied one.  I realize I will have to get a separate switch gear for the start / kill functions. I believe I saw those advertised as well.  I would greatly appreciate any advise or info .   Dave

The Tommaselli 2C throttle is metal, available in black and chrome.

You will likely need different cables.

Greg also has Domino switches and can wire them for your bike.

Just want to give a big shout out for Greg Bender @ This Old Tractor for his assistance in providing me with a very nice switch gear upgrade .  He was great to deal with and made short work of delivering the Tomisili throttle and domino start/kill switch complete with the proper connector to match the molex plug on the LMIII. Installation was straight forward with one exception. If you use the stock cables you will need to realm the cable sockets in the throttle assembly out to 1/4 inch dia.  A standard 1/4 inch jobber bit in the drill press worked easy peasy.  I can highly reccomend Gregs services and Thanks again to Charlie for the lead.
