This should be simple... but it is turning into a real Easter egg hunt!
My 99 Bassa came to me less it's OE battery hold down mechanism. Pretty typical on an older bike that somewhere along the line that part gets shed. Thought I could just look it up on a parts diagram. But it seems like there were variations of hold downs from the factory! At least two metal bracket types and several rubber strap/latch types. Not sure if they are interchangeable or represent "running changes" from the factory at the time. I'm at a bit of a loss as to exactly what I need and what should go in. Anybody got some pics or a definitive way of determining what components I should be searching for? Looking into the battery bay I can not see any concise areas a strap type system would attach, but evidence that perhaps a metal bracket slid into a receiving loop on the back of the fuse/relay holder; nothing really obvious on the left side. None of the drawing on the parts diagrams look like they "line up" or attach with what I've got. Looking for pics or any leads to send me in the right direction!
