Another Fall Ride on the Bassa
« on: October 06, 2026, 07:50:55 AM »
It ran so well in my trip to the Icefields Parkway that I decided to do a ride towards Sun Valley Idaho and back. Here are some pics along the Clearwater River over Lolo pass. I'm going to hit some hot springs today.

Sunbeam Hot springs near Stanley Idaho. I soaked there. It could get dangerously hot.

Famous sport bike road between Loman and Banks Idaho.

Two more days to get home I think. Almost no center tread left on the back tire.

I got a shinko cruiser rear tire from a nice shop in La Grande Oregon, Extreme Heights Motorsports. Same size as mine. Only got about 3, 200 miles out of my Bridgestone Batlax BT46. Thought I'd get much more. They changed it when I got there and while I waited. Only took about an hour. Then on my way west to Ukiah and Heppner Oregon. In The Dalles Oregon tonight, home tomorrow. Here are some pics of some fall foliage in the Blue Hills of eastern Oregon.
