Surplus tank helmet in bold yellow letters during my high school years.  Driving around in my 81 Grand Prix pulling on the steering column, breaking the adjustment which made it sound like it was an AA gun with the keys rattling which sounded like falling shells.  Scared the beejeesus out my passengers.

Stuck

I added the 99 in for my graduation year.

I probably already participated in this thread  a while back, but here is an addendum of sorts.

For many years I had mules.  I used them to pull wagons, pack out game in the Rockies, and even to ride on occasion.  I think the last one died about five or six years ago.  My sister in law pinned the name Muley on me, probably more for my personality than the fact that I loved all these mules.

Not long after getting my collection of mules we adopted two jackasses from the BLM.  One was captured in Arizona, and the other was captured in Nevada.   The estimated ages of these jacks at that time were five and twelve, respectively.  I came home tonight to find the younger one dead, apparently of just old age.  He had been going down for the last few months, and I suspected his time was near.  He was approximately 26 years old.  The older one died quite a few years ago, and now I'm left with one pregnant Jenny.  The foal will be old Kofa's legacy.

My sister in law probably wanted to nickname me Jackass, but  she knew I'd most likely reject that one

Q:   Is it fast ?
A:   No, 'bout like a Harley.

As it seem Moto... is almost universal for motorcycle in almost all languages I was surprised to find the Swaheli for motorcycle is PikiPiki maybe the word is onomatopoeic I don't know I just decided to use it as my username as I was mildly amused by it.

My nickname refers to the Yellowhead Highway that goes from Winnipeg, through my hometown of Edmonton, to Prince Rupert on the BC coast. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellowhead_Highway I've ridden some miles on it in both directions, and like to think I'll do a bunch more before I hang up the jacket for the last time.

Yes. Except for the classical part - most genres that don't require skill with the bow. "If you catch my meaning, if you get my drift."

I've been using my username ever since my first newsgroup posts back in 1997 or 1998.

My user name was supposed to be "Simonone" but while registering I've made a typo and written "Simonome"

Simonone in Italian sounds "Big Simon", which is how my closest friends used to call me at the time.

A most excellent friend of mine named Mike Abernathy who shared my interests Guzzis & Ducatis and in Sport Car Racing started calling me Moto Chuck because I was riding a 1970 Ambassador at the time.  So I got to be known as Moto Chuck around the Sports Car Club and some of the rallys.  Mike moved to Florida in the 1990s and died in 2012.

I added the 250 a number of years ago when I ran into another MotoChuck on another forum.  The 250 references my love for 250 & 350 single cyl. Ducatis from the mid 1960s.

So there you go MotoChuck250.

It describes the way I ride round the Yorkshire lanes, in much the way Compo wandered them on foot. I'm retired, I've no need to hurry anywhere (except when the enlarged prostate makes its presence felt).

Mine goes back to 1992 when I got an ampallang piercing. My mates in the Laverda club used to refer me to their friends as the bloke with a bolt through his helmet. I've been called Helmetbolt or Bolta ever since.

Mine is family history related. Our family tree (by my father's side) goes back to the time of counts. We have it drawn from year 1300 till roughly 1900. Some informations we dig out are even from year 734! Indeed, there are some holes in between, but I am working on them slowly. It's a lifetime project.

Our surname was "Barbo von Waxenstein", which somewhere in 1700 only become "Barbo" thanks to weird church laws and priests not interested in writing long surnames. Waxi is just abbreviation of the original one.
