She was given the nickname by my dad when just a pup, and a varient became my email address because my parents weren't likely forget it.

My name here is an easy one to figure out.  I'm a gal with a Guzzi.

My user name was bestowed upon me one evening, many decades ago, by my Wing Commander who just happened to be at the Air Base gate when I came through in my Porshe 944 loaded to the max with flight nursers.  My predilection for German sports cars, the Air Force and being single….   well..  At any rate he said I was getting greedy, what with all those women and called me a Wolf.  I replied: “ you know what they say Colonel, “Diamonds are a girls best friend”,  the Diamond being the insignia designating the position.  From the back of the car came a melodious voice, ringing out, “ that’s right he’s an Wolf … an AirWolf.”  The monicker stuck and then I managed to acquire the license tag LuftWolf, which is the German translation.  Still have the tag and some fond memories to go with it.

Pre-internet, back in the electronic bulletin board days, I helped run a local BBS (Co-Sysop).  I was a financial counselor, CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and was using the handle "Craigclu" and found that it was never taken in various venues such as email, web domains, user names, etc.  I just kept using it as it never had conflicts.

Group ride through central Australia
Second day and just getting into a comfortable speed
I'd made a last minute decision to bring a nice single malt for the campfire
Small hip flask went into my tank bag.
Large hip flask was stuffed into my nylon seat bag on exhaust side but well away from exhaust.
Metal flask had settled and became heated, reach flash point and boom, huge blue flame
First I knew of it was when my companion raced passed me and frantically waved me to stop.
He was following 50 metres behind and had been showered with burning nylon as my toiletries bag shot out as a burning missile
He had just attached his GoPro to his helmet but had yet to switch it on, else I would have won the Internet that day.

A few years after I had sold off my first Guzzi, a '70 Ambo, I acquired another Guzzi, a LeMans, and joined this group and I couldn't think of anything more appropriate the Goosed Again. Unfortunately, due to inactivity, that account was deleted so I'm starting as a newbie one more time  now that I've been goosed again with a '74 Eldo.

This got a laugh from my wife.  I had to shorten the straps on my soft luggage due to the Breva's upswept pipes. Started scorching the underneath originally but fortunately I caught it in time. Note to self, when I go on holiday make sure whisky is packed on the top!!!!!!

Back in the early eighties I was getting into British bikes and I was reading an article about the Matchless G12CSR. It was a reprint from the 60s and the author was decrying the horrible cast badges that had replaced the old ones as " the worst kind of JukeboxGothic". It stuck in my head.

   I was serving as Chief Engineer on a Factory Trawler with a Multi national crew .A lot of them were amazed that I actually worked on and around the process equiptmment and got my hands dirty. Soon go to be known as a "Rebochi" which is the Russian word for worker.
