Subaru should make an updated version of the Brat.
I thought they did make an updated version of the Brat a couple years ago.

Edit: I was thinking of the Subaru Baja which is kind of like a 4-door Brat.

Well, there's advantages to being a big guy, but there's not many when it comes to motorcycling.

You've got 5 times the number of great performance bikes you can effectively ride and get full performance from than I can .....

I've wanted a sidecar forever.  Someday.  Someday.  Maybe on my Guzzi CalVin.

My name is Witt.

I went to college with a bunch of slow-talking Southerners. I had a bad habit of finishing their sentences for them.

One day one of them asked, "How'd you know what I was going to say?"

Before I could come up with an answer, a buddy next to me piped up and said, "The Great Wittangamo sees all, knows all ... "

We had a good laugh and the nickname stuck.  ;D

The bike I love and ride with my initials attached to the end. At the time there were too many Tom's fighting it out on this board.  :bike

The name of my 74 T.

In Lakota (most people say Sioux but there are no Sioux) it is: Sha Shunka Wakan which translated literally means:
Red Dog Big or Red Dog Mystery or a number of other interpretations including Red Horse.  I used to refer to my bikes as my "ponies".

The T was painted a kind of reddish maroon when I got it and I was calling it "Red Pony" but it never clicked.  In Lakota Shunka is dog but Shunka Wakan is Horse (or God Dog, Big Dog, Great Dog), Sha is red.

My old El Do was Buffalo Pony or Ta Tanka Shunka Wakan.

Washte.  It is good, it is said.

My first bike.  A 1973 Benelli Dynamo (in 1974); a 65 cc, two stroke, four speed trail bike.  My personal rocket ship, bought with my paper route money for $165.  That's why, to this day, I still get done riding with a smile on my face.

So to make sure I get mailed back to my home-town Post Office when lost,
I have my initials (John P.) and zip code memorized, finally.

My name is Travis. People shorten that to Trav and then it becomes Travman. I'm always surprised when people I've only known for a short while start calling me Travman. It isn't something I actively encourage, but don't mind it either.

Marshall is my dog's name.  He hates my motorcycles because he doesn't get to ride along... we're still looking for a decent sidecar hack to add to the stable, though!

I just watched "This is 40"... I was wasting time, to be certain, but after an hour and a half listening to that woman whine at her defeated husband, I'm glad to be single!  That, and with 4 BMW's in the stable, I'd count you on the winning end.  Just sayin'.

The husbands that have to listen to the whining nags at 40 are generally the husbands that picked their wives based on bust size or the frequency that they had sex at the age of 21, neither of which is a solid basis for a long happy marriage ..... !

Paper..

Been involved in paper making equipment since March of 1989 and I'm still at it..

I travel all the time for work (mostly USA) and I service the wet end of paper machines.. Everything from putting a dot of weld on a razor blade tip, to straightening precision plate to within .001" per foot.. I'm lucky enough to have a job that keeps me challenged and requested for service jobs over and over again.. And I've met some great people while doing the job, all over the country..

Been going to Guzzi Rallies long enough. Figured I'd actually buy one..

And then I sold it.. :(
