spotted at MN Guzzi brunch..My friend Jack has a V11 TT, supposedly one of 15 in the US, the only thing unique seems to be the color scheme. Nice huh?

WG member "BoBo" (Robert O. from Lisbon, IA) has one of these. Originally I'd thought it was a previously-downed or -damaged bike whose parts were replaced with mis-matched colors. I was surprised to learn it came like that from the factory, as I'd never seen any pics or info on it before.

I also didn't know they had their own specific title ("TT"), and I didn't know they were so ridiculously rare. 15??  :o

I think, more accurately, you could say that it came from "the importer" that way.

V11 Sport TT and V11 Sport Carbon are two USA importer creations that were basically parts mix/match bikes that marketing came up with to move a few leftovers...

Yeah, when I bought my V11 Sport from Neds, Jim told me that the bike was rare. This is the first time I've heard of the "TT" designation though. Plus I didn't know "rare" meant "15". No wonder I've never seen another one at the rallies. Thanks for the info, folks. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a rare and beautiful Italian motorbike outside begging me to ride it.

Sorry for resurrecting such an old topic but it looks like this bike might be for sale.  And at a pretty good price.
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/mcy/5205344823.html

I've be searching for a V11 myself and stumbled across the ad this morning.  I had to google what a V11 Sport TT was and this post came up in the results.  Interesting bike.  I figured posting this might help find a happy new owner for it, or at least bring up an interesting update on the subject.  (Too far for me to pickup myself. Oh well)

Hello, My name is Chris, and I have a motorcycle problem...

Well, not really, but with 18 bikes my garage is surely over crowded.

I am proud to say, that I am the new owner of this fine motorcycle.

A friend of mine has 3 Guzzi's in his collection, I rode 2 of them in the spring and after that, I knew I would own at least ONE soon.

My friend sent me the link to the CL ad, he regrets that now, lol

After speaking with Jack for a while, I knew THIS was the bike, and Jack was the owner I wanted to buy from, a really great guy.

I am anxiously awaiting delivery, and not sleeping to well the last few nights.

I am looking forward to another chapter in my motorcyciling life experiences.

Chris

That's a nice specimen.

In the '90s when the Centauro sales became duds I think the dealers did some switcheroos. On a few of them the side panels from the yellow - anthracite bikes were changed for the white panels on the red bikes making for a stunning combination on both bikes.

You'll probably want more than 1 Guzzi, just sayin from experience.

And think about getting this on the for sale site,

That's the bike that did it (GUZZI) for me. A friend offered to swap bikes one day. I was on an R1100S and he was on this. Sold the BMW and bought the Nero!

I bought mine from Ned's in Riverside, IA about 11 years ago as the second owner, but I think the original owner bought it there as well. I could be mistaken though. Wouldn't be the first time lol

Enjoy your "new" Sport, and welcome to the very small club. Mine has been a joy to own, a pleasure to ride, and gets attention/compliments everywhere I go. I just never get tired of riding it every day.
