I won't be making the ride to CV  Have a couple of medical issues to resolve before I want to get too far from home.  But while you guys and gals are having a good time around the campfire, I'll remember to stop off just down the street at the "Oak and Embers" on Saturday evening and have a shot of Bulleit Rye.  Sort of a long distance toast to all of you who made the ride.  Be safe and have fun!

Well, we now have somewhat of a plan worked out for what direction and where we end up each day. Manageable miles for each day etc.

Only fly in the ointment could be flooding along the way... :undecided:

If any of you are just dying to pitch a box of old license plates -

I could use some license plates to help to fill in my license plate "wall".

Bring 'em to Cedar Vale and I'll happily dispose of them for you.

I plan to have a record weekend. Bringing a stack to spin on i-LP unit to load em into laptop. Mix mash of stuff. Stuff I have no idea what is. Those are sometimes the best.

Yes, I just checked the weather forecast.  It looks like it will be half-way decent.  The temperature range of 50 to 70 and a 20% chance of rain through the weekend.  I need to start packing.

Need to come in the pick-up again this year. I got the rags soaking in coal tar for my ankles to keep the sugar ants from getting to my candy ass. Last year Dug had a Moon Pie, therapy dog etc for me as I drove my pea cup. That is how we say Pick-up truck. I'll bring some lagniappe.

Some of us speak Texas Turnip , here is the translation .

I am still a bit banged up from my crash and having difficulty riding a motorbike . Therefore I will be driving my pick up truck to Cedar Vale , which brings me great shame , being a million miler and all . I will still provide humor , a specific Texas Turnip variety that will leave everyone amazed and amused .

Not yet loaded up, as I'm only 1 1/2 hours away and won't be leaving until Friday, but definitely ready! Just checked fluids, tires, lights, and plugs, degreased the engine and transmission, and gave the old girl a much needed wash. Good to go!

Due to the lousy wx in the midwest this year, I've had the AeroLario out exactly once. (!) I'm assuming it's ready to go..
Tomorrow is supposed to be warm and dry. Whatever that is.. but the G5 and Mighty Scura need exercised. They haven't been out at all.

The weather forecast is kinda ugly for Wed , but as the Turnip says , if you watch the weather you won't ever go anywhere .

The pavilion will hold us all no problem , and we can hang out in the back room of the cafe . If it is all that wet we can leave the bikes under cover in the park and get transported by car to the cafe .

Do please be careful , don't ride into a line of storms , wait a bit , likely the storms will move out of the way soon enough .

What with the flat tire Guzzi and leaking Triumph (say it ain't so), it's XT250 for the win.   Yamaha bails me out again....

Concerning the Indian site tour. It appears that I am not going to be able to arrange a tour for us on Friday. So...my understanding is that a weekly tour is done every Saturday from 10:30-1:00 for $10 per person. I will find out more details concerning where to meet and how the tour is actually done. Saturday weather looks good.

The Wednesday weather forecast is improving folks . Do remember that the pavilion will hold us all comfortably , as will the back dining room in the restaurant .

You can sit at home and complain about the weather , or you can come hang out with your friends and ignore it . Sounds like an easy choice to me .
