Is that Springfield? That area would be an option for the first night's stopping location.
Here I sit freezing my noonies off in W Chester Hts checking out WildGoose when up pops Cedar Vail. Its a funny posting if you read all of it,Ol Ckucky from Indiana made mention of police patrol and that gheezer that rides a bmw was quick to correct him as to only one cop protrols CV.That reminds me of Cedar Vail #1----Heres what really happened,3 hands up to Alla Iwouldnt lie trust me :bow Twas the nite ofCV#1 we were all having a good ole time, as I recall there were 6 of us,had an enormous bon fire Guzzisti was heavily in t0, my Coors special reserve Old Bike was probabiy pissin on someones tent AM General and Delrod were doing dishes(???).Now these boys were getting roudy about nine thirty 10 there was a ghastly commotion, turned out it was only our first guard dog (weve replaced him with another) chasing a mountain lion(squirrel) the screams from the ml were terrifying the bon fire on the edge of uncontrollable (should I mention some idiot putting a large cooler full of beer to close to the fire? that styrofoam melts quickly so we were forced to drink it fast).Looking to the sky I saw at least 1star shooting across the sky ,Kirby1923 said there were several he said the sky must be falling ,he would know if anyone would being a pilot and all (ww1 ace as I recall),Im thinking to my self if the sky falls what are the odds of a star landing on my tent probably tearing it(rain???) oh boy.The live band is blairing away thru the cedar trees ,spearing us with dull cedar needles the ground was covered. Thanks for bringing the cds Guzzisti!

Is this the candy factory in Dexter still going? I think they made the old fashioned hard christmas candy. Might be the same place Daniel Kalal was talking about. Used to deliver sack feed and minerals in the area, Moline and Sedan were a couple stops on the route. Always went through Dexter and saw the candy factory next to the road but never got to stop.
That's it! Thanks Daniel. I remember that building and sign. Guess it's worth a look to see if it is still open.See everyone at Cedar Vale! :bikeRod
Well, with you there Dusty I won't be the only "long haired hippie type" there. ;) :D
