New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Loaded the mighty Nismo today for a trip to eastern Ohio/Western Pa. I might be giving my sidecar rig to my son, if'n he displays any aptitude for driving it safely. Hope to take a trip to the ancestral farm, in Westmoreland County. Its been in the family since the late 1700s. Time to see family and old friends. Cheers!
Fabulous Dusty - thanks. Convert is running a treat. Barely even leaks now (and yes, there is ATF in the tank). Rode much of the day on narrow gravel 'colonization' roads. People who've never ridden a Convert have no idea what a treat they are missing. NickPS The colonization roads didn't achieve much. Even though it was free, the land was too barren, tough and the winters too cold for settlement ever to gain much of a hold. The area is full of abandoned farmsteads and old wrecked log cabins now. As for the FN? they knew better than to try and extract a living from those areas - except for a bit of seasonal hunting.
My bread is singing so loud I can hear it in the next room... What a great day.
Not great. Went over the bars on the dirt bike. Bruises only but I'm moving slowly. Maybe I am too old for this.
That your'e moving is a very good sign that you will be OK.
The XR350 needs new fork tubes.

First BLT sandwich of the season tonight with our home grown tomatoes. Taste buds are still dancing. GliderJohn
Yum! we've had some green beans and new taters and onions out of the garden but 'maters are a little slow, we got stunted by frost mother's day weekend.
Squash, zucchini, blackberries, radishes, spinach, carrots, cucumbers, and beets are either in or still coming in ... Tomatoes were doing well, just thriving when I left the house Friday morning, so I made sure they were suckered and tied up nice ... Came back from a Guzzi weekend, went out Monday morning and the whole tops were stripped off the plants and stems, flowers, and leaves missing everywhere. At first I thought "DEER"! even though I've never had deer bother the tomatoes before, then I saw some kind of black dung balls spread all over the ground. Then I looked closer and was shocked to see giant caterpillar/worm things on the plants! They were the size and length of two fat thumbs end-to-end, the biggest worms I'd ever seen .... CUTWORMS! There were only three of them but they destroyed a dozen tomato plants in two days while I wasn't looking. I almost thought I was going to have to take a .22 to kill them, but they squash like water-balloons on the ground, and a bit of Sevin spray should take care of any others. So maybe I'll get a few tomatoes if the plants survive ... Habaneros, yellow peppers, beans, blackeye peas, corn, and okra are doing well, shouldn't be too long.Lannis
I’ve got to be the most blessed man on earth and I sure don’t deserve it🙏👍
Now, *that* is a get off..
you'd do well to get yourself a rig with a modern suspension that's tuned to you're weight.
That's just what I'll do. Looking for a CRF 250 L.
