Hello everyone,

Chris
50
New Braunfels, Texas

Riding for 30 plus years, started looking for a Guzzi a couple of years ago and was set on a V11 Lemans to complement my Ducati 900ss CR. Missed out on a few and never considered a Stelvio 1200, never a fan of the adventure bike until taking a 1500 mile trip through Washington State on a Yamaha Super Tenere, then I understood what those bikes are about. Just purchased a low mile 2015 Stelvio 1200 NTX and love it. Appreciate all the valuable information from everyone found here on Wild Guzzi!

Rich Whiteman Charlotte area 62 years old.    Any Guzzi riders in the Charlotte Nc/Rock Hill Sc area?  I have had the 2023 V85TT for about a year now...She gets regularly flogged.

Hello,

Huseyin here from Farmington Hills area in Michigan.

I just bought a 2024 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Ten. I am driving Motorcycles since I am 18. Started with Suzuki Bandit, to GSX-R 600 to TL1000R.
2014 I switched to Harley with first Breakout then Road King. And now the switch to a Guzzi V7.
Its a beautiful bike. I love the engine. Just the gearbox I need to get used to. The difference between each gear is soooo little.

New user.... or at least new account. Thought I had an account previously, but I guess not. Just your typical motorcycle junkie, from Southwest Ohio.

'Accidentally' acquired a 2016 Moto Guzzi Audace a few days ago while causally shopping for a Griso. Because it was so unusual and held a larger-than-life bold presence, it made the decision to come home with me. It sold new in 2020, only has 1,468-miles on it, and prior to my ownership has never been in Veloce mode. Photo makes it look red, but it's actually a gorgeous Satin Orange. I'm still figuring things out, have some questions, and not entirely sure where this bike fits into my toolbox just quite yet.

While this is only my 4th Moto Guzzi, I've actually owned a fair number of others over the years. My primary rides tend to be modern Triumph, but I love bikes of all kinds.

I had an Audace. Loved it but it got too heavy and cumbersome for my aged bones. Enjoy.

The weight doesn't bother me too much when I'm in the saddle, but I will say it's a bit of a handful when I'm shuffling it around in my garage. I also don't mind the wide and low drag bars so much which is a common complaint, but the feet position (despite not being as far forward as others) is a bit of a challenge for me due to a left ankle injury from a couple decades ago.

Greetings all.
Kirk from Dallas TX area. Looking to get my second Guzzi. I had a LeMans III years ago and now at 61 looking to get a California.
Have had a lot of bikes over the years, and a few fun cars too.
Will be posting a good bit of questions as I come back up to Guzzi speed!
Cheers y'all.

Hi guys,

Not had a Guzzi (Goose?) before,  but I've always had a soft spot for them, and after my RE Himalayan let me down one time too many, I've just put a deposit down on a 2020 V85TT Travel in the brown / beige. It's a E4 model with about 6,500 miles on the clock. Comes with a Garmin Zumo, front fender add on, and the full Urban luggage, fog lights etc befitting the Travel.
Have been doing a lot of reading, and owners feedback seems almost overwhelmingly positive. Low speed throttle seems to be a common bugbear, and a few switch gear issues, but otherwise they seem pretty solid and reliable.
I was considering whether I'd be better off hanging on for a 2021 model E5 with the tubeless rims, but (touch wood) I've been lucky with punctures all my life (not a big off road rider), and will likely chuck some Slime in anyway.  These bikes aren't terribly common in the UK and while there are a few on the used market, finding one in the spec and colour I like is tricky (especially at the sub £8k mark).

This 2020 seems to tick all my boxes and I'm excited to go see it on Friday and get a ride before biting the bullet.

Anything I should look out for on initial inspection/test ride? Or is there any huge issue with the E4 models that would mean I'd better off leaving it?

For context, the bike is listed at £7,999 and I've had a (remote) offer of £7,700 accepted by the dealer. I only found out after making my offer that they've had the bike in for several months, so potentially a bit of wiggle room on the price, though I don't think it's massively overpriced (for a dealer bike) anyway.

Would welcome any thoughts/feedback.

Cheers!

In the US some of the first 19/20 units had bad rings. If the MFG date is 19/20 it would be wise to do both a leak down and compression test.

I had forgotten I even made an account on here... but I did, and now I'm doing my introductory post, quite some time later :D
When I first registered I was looking at getting a used Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200, but the one I was looking at got sold... so I reevaluated, and got a brand new V85TT instead, to replace my Harley Sportster 1200.
Couldn't be happier with my choice of bike!

Nice to meet y'all.

Hello,

I'm Michel aka Chelmi, I live in the west of France and I have a LeMans 2 that sleeps in the garage, yes I know it should be on the road.

I've also had two V11s and two 1000 SPs.

Quite a few of my friends ride Guzzi's, including one in Quota, and I'm looking for info on how to use GuzziDiag to check that the ECU and injection are working properly on this machine.

Thank you for your welcome.

Hi there, my name is Dick and I live in rural Victoria Australia. I currently have a 2016 1400 California SE Touring which I have had for nearly two years. I have had two previous Calis over many years and found them to be very capable tourers. I have come on here to learn about my bike from like minded people and share my experiences with my ownership of Guzzis.

Well, I did it. Now the owner of a 2020 TT Travel, was 6,500 miles when I picked it up on Saturday, now at just over 7,000 and I could not be happier! The most "just right" motorcycle I've ever ridden. Perfect blend of power, comfort, and looks for me.

Hey all,

I just picked up my 1st Guzzi, a 1972 Eldorado. It's becoming a bit of a project to get it back on the road but I'm excited to cruise this summer (I hope!).

I'm 38 and live in Seattle. I've had a lot of bikes over the years, but mostly into vintage bikes these days. I'm new to the Guzzi world though.
