It depends on the rally and the organizer.
The NM one does not have many organized events. There is a dinner award event, raffle prizes, Sat afternoon best bikes vote, and catered food for dinner each evening, but the rest is kind of just a big campfire thing. Not bad for an event with less than 100 folks. Most of us go just to see and talk with each other, sometimes pick out a route and go for a ride.
