Wow. hair-raising. It seems too some of these drivers could slow down a little!   Amazing too some of the "walk away froms"

This is precisely why my wife wouldn't let me rent a bike when we went over there. Everyone drives like they are at Indianapolis and the roads are pretty bad to western standards.
I watched some of these videos before going and just assumed they were a compilation of rare instances but after spending some time on those roads I realized there was a reason why everyone had a dash cam. It is for nothing more than evidence so the blame could become incontrovertible.

They drink a lot of vodka over there.   Those are shots of folks who lived, their road death rate must be huge.

I worked the last 6 years in East Germany.  Leipzig airport. Plenty of Russians in that part of Deutschland.  You know what I like about Russians?
