V50 and SP1000 Tank Lids
« on: February 02, 2015, 09:42:18 AM »
Does anyone know if the tank lids between the V50 and SP1 are the same, or is the SP1 longer?

Thanks for the reply and dimensions. I checked the one on my 81 G5 last night, and it also has those dimensions. I have one coming in the mail, just not sure which model it's from exactly. I think V50, but looks like there are a few different models too, so we'll see. I'll confirm dimensions once I get my replacement, but it's looking like these lids may all be the same (hopefully).

Stamping tools, even for a simple part like this, are extremely expensive. I would be more than surprised if Guzzi made different lids for different tanks. That said, I just checked the Lario and Strada, and they are apparently the same.

Follow-up on this. I received the V50 tank lid and it is exactly the same as the G5 and SP tank lids (the metal lids, not the plastic types). Just posting to confirm. Thanks again.
