I'm looking to go to bar end mirrors on my Jackal, and will end up with the empty female threaded holes from the existing mirrors. Obviously a lean and clean look is preferred. Is there a simple retrofit mount for the levers that can be sourced, or should I simply look to cap the holes?

That's where I put the RAM ball mounts :)

In some cases you can simply cut/grind them down, but, that may leave more of a scar than just plugging them.

Love the RAM system, and have a ball mounted on the handlebar riser. Works really well. Don't know that I'd want a device out there in the breeze at the bar end. Nice idea though...maybe thats where I mount the cupholder??  **C

Do you mean the RAM system? It's completely unrelated to the original question, but sure....
everything is based off a hard rubber 1" dia ball. This mount, for example, moves from my bike to my car, and holds a smartphone rock solid, even while hitting potholes, etc. They make many different ball mount options. I've got a robust windshield mount in the car. My buddy has a ball clamped to the bar of his Guzzi, etc.

glad I asked. Man o man, language matters.

I went to the garage and pulled the cover back, wondering what the heck I was thinking. Definitely wasn't when I concluded I'd need something different, but I wasn't entirely deluded. The brake lever mount is in fact one with the master cylinder and the mirror mount, but CJ, you're 100% correct, I can flip the front half of the bar clamp on these, thread to the floor, and be done. I may still look for some nylon plug/cap thingy to fill the opening. Maybe even a low pro button head capscrew.

my local mom and pop hardware store has a selection of black plastic push plugs. these leave a semi rounded matte black done over the now plugged hole. I always buy a bunch in various sizes when I go. They come in handy for filling in those extra holes in your fender and other such places...

What mtiberio said. Those plastic push caps are for plugging the holes after you have assembled the kind of furniture that is packed in a flat box and you assemble yourself. The plugs just happen to fit the threaded holes for stalk-type motorcycle mirrors.
