$150 scrap by the pound minus $75 to haul it to Metco Recycling = net $75.

I get a kick out of how some folks use the word "invested" like they expect a return. I say to young carpenter "how much did those tattoos cost", young carpenter says "I've got $700 invested in these" proudly I might add.

Yeah, come to think of it he did say he had a memerable time in the hay as one of the tattoos had his girlfriends name in it, later covered over I might add. Each to their own... My "investments"? 26 motorcycles over the years "invested" in my sanity. Works for me!
