Carb manual? NGC
« on: February 20, 2015, 07:34:26 AM »
I'm about to get this MZ tour ready to run. It has a weird 2 carb setup that I've cleaned, etc. but I'd like to know the linkage adjustment, stock jetting, that sort of thing. The MZ forum is dead for all practical purposes, and I've searched to no avail. I have found that the engine and carbs are the same as the Yamaha 660 XTZ. I've looked for a manual (free, of course)  ;D on the web without luck.
Any help here?

Have fun with that weird 1 1/2 carburetor setup. ;) Took me a while to get it right on an XT350 I had. Swore if I kept the bike it was going to get a Y manifold and a single carb.

Yeah, I was looking at it thinking, "I'll bet this can be a can of worms if it isn't set up by the book.."  ;D
