Another light question....
« on: February 27, 2015, 06:30:47 PM »
Cal II, does the tail light come on when you turn the lights to ON? I know this sounds dumb but according to the wire picture it doesn't seem so. ???

I will check mine this evening, it's the G wire I think (G = Yellow in my book) The dash illumination lights are on the same circuit. I believe the lights are all off when the key is off with the exception of the flashers.

Ok, I had gotten my park light and my run wires swapped in the molex. I am only running a headlight (no separate park bulb in the housing) so I have to tap into the low beam and plug that back into the park wire to the headlight connector. I am using aftermarket switches on the handlebar and the wire colors are not Guzzi. But the (shameless plug ahead) main harness built by Greg Bender is faultless, available at thisoldtractor.com. ... Seriously though,I have come from absolutely no lights to a nearly full one on this project. Last thing is flasher switch. Going to pick one up from NAPA for a few bucks cheaper. It's not stock but it is the proper type.

Thanks for all the help fellas!
