Super cool guy.  A real bummer.  He was killed on his street bike.  ???

Damn . Read about the incident last night , but his name was not released at the time . His father , Trig Westby , founded the Kinetic Playground in Tulsa the shop that does Guzzi service work for the dealer across the street . Trig is an icon in the Tulsa motorcycle community , sad day for the family , blood and extended .

Such a shame.

The Westby family is a bunch of super talented folks, but always friendly and would talk to you about as long as you wanted.  Super ambassadors for the sport.  The guys at the shop must be devastated.   :'(

A rider of his caliber trying to avoid and not being able to pull it off.  Sobering to us older, less able types.

My sympathies for his parents.  A parent should never outlive their child.

What a waste of talent.  I wonder if it was a fatal mistake on his part or if he was trying to avoid an accident with someone else.  :-\  He was living his life to the max.   :'(

sad.  I met him at Brookside Openhouse.  What a shame.  He gets crashed at the finishline at Daytona 200 going 180 mph and walks away and then this happens.

awful

One Tulsa station did a nice job of covering this story , the other three made no mention . Lots of rumors flying around , nothing substantiated . There is a cross hanging on the pole that Dane hit , may have to get up there and sign it . Be careful out there guys .
