NGC - amazing housetruck.

It appears that many of us are fascinated by innovative engineering. This housetruck, built by a young Kiwi couple, fits that description and is well worth a few minutes viewing.

Some of the stuff in that truck are really nice.  Having lived in RV's before a lot of what they did is very cool.

I liked that he used reclaimed lumber too, but, wood from power poles?  Would not have thought of using them.  Loved the clothes storage solution and the toilet/shower in the turrets.

My wife liked that he had three different ways of heating water :)  It's the only problem we have with our trailer right now.

We had thought about teardrop trailers for a while, but, they are just a bit too small for us.

That old Bedford he has used was a petrol engined truck. I hope he has re-powered it with a Diesel one or it will cost a fortune to move.

I don't think it would weigh that much when compared with the loading that the truck would be certified for. 
However the physical size of the load may be an issue in some of the tighter roads in the country, though that is covered by regulation too.
Weight distribution can be an issue with such home builds though this one doesn't look too out of whack.
I'm assuming that he didn't use real rock for his decorations (why would you?) which incidentally is my only gripe with the look of the thing. But even if he had it would still I believe be within weight limits though needlessly heavy.
