I have, btw, filed a protest with FW, as I don't think those off-road miles should count.   ;D

Actually, they should count as DOUBLE miles.

Weather for Hiawassee this weekend is still looking great!

For the steak dinner on Saturday night at the campground, we Guzzi folks are going to all try to sit together.

We could also do something like a group ride down to Riders Hill in Dahlonega, maybe for lunch.

Looks like we're going to have a good crowd of Guzziasts there!

Hello-
I plan on arriving in Hiawassee Thurs afternoon.
I have to go to Easley tomorrow for business so I'm packing up tonight and riding up in the morning.
From Easley I can make it to camp before dark.
I am towing a trailer because I have to carry heavy parts to Easley and didn't feel I could lash them down to the bike with enough hope that they wouldn't fall off.
See you there.

Hi Stephen,
Find a nice flat spot near a bathroom and make sure there is room for company.  I'll make sure to have enough adult beverage to make this worth your while.  It will be good to see you again.

Wow, we had three days of beautiful skies and no rain.  That is, so far in 2015, the longest stretch of non rain days this year.  There were some 640 attendees, mostly on BMW bikes.  This was, after all, a BMW rally!  We did have SIX Stelvios.  Heck, that's practically a Stelvio National Rally all by itself.

Some of us rode to Riders Hill and posed for a photo.

Leafman60 was there to lead the gang through the twisties of North Georgia.

I landed home tonight.

My trip was 1700 miles and included riding other than the GM Rally.  That was a fine rally.  Many friendly folks. Good times! Good crowd of Guzzi bikes too! Pictures and more later.
