Lisa, working back to back 12 hour shifts at the hospital this weekend, was unable to keep a watch on our trailer.
..and THIS bad boy jumped in!!
(was one of those "beg for forgiveness later ~instead of permission now" kind of things..) :pop
A hearty Thank You to "Vagrant" Steve, with honorable shout out to Mrs.Orwig for expounding on the virtues of these bikes from a passenger observation.
This is my 3rd Guzzi. All 3 completely different flavors from one to another.
First was a 1997 1100Sport i, next came the 1970 Ambassador. Finally(yeah, right), this 2010 Stelvio. ~Might have to try a Centauro next. Hmmm..
My plan is to ride the balls off of it, or at least the cam lobes
To top it off, I took it in the
pouring rain to the "blessing of the bikes" this morning (talk about "complete immersion"!).
In the past (1982), I had bought a new Yamaha XT550, slapped street tires and a wind-screen on it, milk crate for a top box, made sheet metal lowers for more wind protection, and hit the highways in comfort. Must be reliving my past..
