Guzzidiag tps error message
« on: April 25, 2015, 04:51:27 PM »
Hi all,
After finally getting the drivers for my cables downloaded and installed I connected the laptop to my Norge and followed the directions to re-set the tps after syncing the throttle bodies at 4000rpm.  When I click on "start" I get the message "tps reset error".
I've tried with the key off and the key on, but it makes no difference.  Anyone have this issue and how did you correct it?
Thanks, Kris
Okay, went back to garage to struggle some more, shut the program down and re-opened, got it to reset but down to 4.5, I think it's supposed to be 4.8.  When I tried it again the error message keeps popping up, closing and reopening doesn't seem to be working either.

You are the first getting an error on reset. What was the tps value innitialy? When it chnaged, tps reset is working.  The value it gets after reset is programmed in the ecu, the command to reset it just tells the ecu: reset to default. The map holds the value. Not all 5am have same value.

You can turn on debug logging, and make a log while  doing reset and send the log to:  guzzidag at gmail.com
You find the logging option under preferences, extra

It was initially at 5.00, then the one time it worked it went to 4.50.  I'll turn on de-bug logging and send it to you.
Thanks
