I know I'll never part with my 01 M900. A basic pure motorcycle. Only problem with Ducs is the very light flywheel makes them not quite as friendly as an around town bike vs something with a heavier flywheel.
But once into 2nd gear it's hard to beat that sound and acceleration. Mine still has the dry clutch so sound is much more pronounced.
My wife liked the feel of my Duc but it was still just a little too much for her. She absolutely loves her Honda Hawk GT though. It's like a 7/8's Duc and fits her perfectly, almost too small for me. But just as competent going down the road as the Duc.
